| TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES | |||
| We can take any type of written material (electronic or hardcopy) and transcribe it into a digital Braille file. Files can be delivered to you electronically or embossed to produce multiple Braille copies. Electronic text may be provided on disk or sent as an e-mail attachment. Transcribed files can be delivered to you electronically via the Internet, on disk or as embossed hardcopy. |

| We can convert text into Braille in three ways: | |||

| All text is transcribed by our five Library of Congress-certified staff transcribers and is proofread by our two full-time certified proofreaders. Two transcribers have completed the Nemeth Code course for mathematics and are working toward certification. We also have a full-time tactile graphics specialist with expertise in designing computerized charts, diagrams and illustrations. | |||
| For larger projects we are supported by two Southern California Braille guilds. We also work with experienced contract transcribers throughout the country. | |||
